The word Dhyana is formed from the Sanskrit roots dhi, meaning mind, and yana, meaning movement. Together, they speak of an inner journey, one where attention shifts gradually, moving away from restlessness toward clarity. It is less about effort, and more about noticing where the mind chooses to settle.
Within the tradition of Dhyana, this journey is understood as a progression from attention scattered across desire and agitation, toward a quieter, more auspicious state of awareness. At its most refined, known as Śukla dhyāna, the mind’s many fields of focus gently narrow, until thought becomes still and undisturbed.
Created for a new home, this work holds that final moment where movement gives way to presence. Rather than instructing or directing, the painting offers a steady visual anchor, allowing stillness to emerge naturally within the rhythm of everyday life.

The composition was built with restraint, using controlled colour fields and softened transitions to support a sense of visual stillness. Attention was given to balance and symmetry, ensuring the figure remains centred without becoming rigid.
Each layer was allowed to settle before the next was introduced, creating depth without visual noise. The surface was refined to minimise distraction, so the viewer’s attention can rest comfortably rather than move restlessly across the canvas.

Once the plan and amount are agreed upon, a 50% payment confirms the order and begins the creation. You will receive updates during the process, with final images or a video walkthrough shared before dispatch. The final work is shipped upon balance receipt.
